What is the Academy schedule?

COJAC 2021 will take place Monday - Friday online, July 11 - 30.

A typical day at COJAC:

9:00am - 9:45am | Group warm-ups

10:00am - 11:30am | Rehearsals/sectionals with COJAC faculty

11:30am - 1:00pm | Lunch break

1:00pm - 1:45pm | Social activities, Leadership workshops

2:00pm - 3:30pm | Masterclasses, Practice time

COJAC 2022 will be held in person & include full orchestra/ensemble rehearsals every weekday evening, as well as field trips and activities throughout Monterey & Santa Cruz counties each weekend.

How much does it cost?

Because this year’s Academy will be held online, tuition is a reduced rate of $300. Accepted participants from low-income households and El Sistema or El Sistema-inspired programs are eligible for full scholarships.
